RECENTLY READ #11

A few books that I have recently read.

001. A Clockwork Orange - Anthony Burgess
I was far too confused when reading this book due to the language which was used. In the book they have their own made up language and it's not explained what the words mean. This left me bored of reading the book because I had no clue what was happening most of the time. I hope if I ever think to re-read this, then I might understand it a little better.

002. Bones & All - Camille DeAngelis
I've heard some good things about this book and decided I would like to read it. I thought that this book was so good. I loved the coming of age aspect while bringing something different like the eating human flesh to the story line as well. I thought the characters were well written and I couldn't keep the book down.

003. The Adventures Of Sherlock Holmes - Sir Arthur Conan Doyle
I enjoyed some of these stories and then others I found slightly boring. I don't know if I would pick up a novel regarding Sherlock but these were nice to dip my toe into the works.

004. Harry Potter And The Philosopher's Stone - J.K. Rowling
A classic favour and one which I haven't read for so long. I was instantly transported back to the world of Harry Potter and realised how much I enjoy this book series. Now I'm thinking of reading them all.

005. IT - Stephen King
This took a long while to read as it's such a gigantic book but it was fast paced and so interesting I found I didn't want to put it down apart from when I had to. I was a bit scared to go into this book because I'm scared of clowns and the movie looks so scary. However this book was phenomenal and I found myself immersed in the city of Derry and an 8th member of the Loser's club. It's honestly a book I can see myself re-reading at some point.

006. Talking With Psychopaths And Savages: A Journey Into The Evil Mind - Christopher Berry-Dee
I read a book by this author before and from what I remember it was enjoyable. However the opposite was for this book, I found the constant bragging and reminder that he had other books and tv shows annoying and it was always followed by a date. I just wanted to read about famous killers but I felt it was more of an advertisement for himself then anything.
