URBAN DECAY: MY NAKED PALETTES

7.5.17

I am a long time lover of Urban Decay and most especially the Naked Palettes that they have. I've somehow ended up with a pretty large collection and thought today I would share them with you. Urban Decay eyeshadows are the ones that I use near enough all the time.

 1. Naked
I can't remember when I actually purchased this palette but I know it was after the Naked 2 and I have mixed feelings about this one if Im honest. Don't get me wrong the colours are lovely I have used this one a few times.

I think it's because there is a lack of matte shadows and I don't think there is any dark matte shades which can be used in the crease. However the lighter shades are actually my favourites especially the shade ' Sin' which is beautiful shimmery pink which could also be used as a highlight.

2. Naked 2
The naked 2 is the eyeshadow palette that saw me through university especially on nights out. As you can see I have completely hit pan on the shade 'bootycall'. I think this palette is perfect especially for creating smokey looks for night out (if you haven't got the smokey palette).

I find myself not reaching as much for this especially when I purchased the Naked 3 which is a lot more softer shades which are ones I like more.

3. Naked 3
The naked 3 palette is my most used and loved. As you can see it's hit pan on a few shades with one broken up. I honestly love this palette a lot and find myself reaching for this when I don't know what eye look to do.

I am sad that the shade 'nooner' has nearly gone as that is my all time favourite shade especially for putting on my crease. The one thing I don't like about this palette is that it has somehow broke and the back of it can come completely off which is a bit rubbish considering the price.

4. Naked Ultimate Basics
My newest palette to the naked collection but when I saw this I couldn't get it out of my mind and knew it had to be mine. All the eyeshadows are stunning and right up my alley. There isn't one shade that I wouldn't wear and I find the packaging to be so pretty.

I am also loving that the shades are all matte as that is my preferred finish of shadow. Like all the palettes it has a pretty huge mirror which is great. I love that all the shade compliment each other which means this would be a perfect palette to travel with.

5. Naked On The Run
This was a gift from Christmas when it was first released and I think it was a limited edition. This palette comes with 6 eyeshadows ( 3 which are shimmers and and 3 mattes), a bronzer, a blush, an eyeliner, mascara and a lipgloss.

Firstly the packaging looks amazing albeit a little bulky to fit in the lipgloss but it's still a great on the go palette to travel with. I think that there could be a few more lighter neutral eyeshadows in this but overall I do love to use all the shades. The shade 'Dive' is my all time favourite and is such a pretty copper glitter shade.

From looking at just the blush I thought it would be too bright for me to use but it blends out really well so it's more subtle along with the bronzer which gives a natural glow. The eyeshadow '5050' could also be used as a highlighter which is brilliant.

I also am in love with the mascara and eyeliner which I use daily and the lipgloss is a nice touch to use over lipstick.

6. Naked Flushed
The naked flush is my least reached for out of them all. It's not an eyeshadow palette but I thought I would include it in my little collection post as it is part of the naked range. The one I have is the 'naked' as I purchased this when it first was released and the only one available.

The naked flush comes with a bronzer, highlight and a blush. I really love the colours however the only reason I don't wear it as much as I would like is because they are fairly shimmery and I like more of a matte bronzer and blush. The blush is nice and pigmented and can be worn as a barely there blush or can be built up. The bronzer seems like a great shade for my skin tone however I just don't like how much it shimmers on me personally. Lastly the highlight is my favourite from the trio and gives a nice glow which can be built up.
