Adam and I decided to spend a few days in Liverpool this May.

It was great timing as it was the week of my birthday and also Adam had the days off due to starting a new job. We decided on Liverpool as it's a city that we both haven't been too and it was honestly amazing!.

We had in my opinion one of the best hotels. Not only was it a 2 minute walk to the dock but it was also only a 5-10 minute walk to the town so it was in the perfect location. We were in a privilege room which included an expresso pod machine, loads of little snack and little necessities.

The first day included us travelling on the train in the morning which meant after checking in, we had the whole afternoon to explore where things were. We had a lovely stroll along the dock and looked in the Beatles store before carrying on into the main town where all the shops were situated. We had a few cocktails in The Slug and Lettuce which were lovely before heading to the world museum which was fun and nice too explore.

Next day we decided to have breakfast at Browns which seemed very fancy before we caught the ferry at 12pm which would take us to spaceport where they had a Star Wars exhibit on. This was brilliant and we actually missed the next ferry by 4 minutes. Meaning we had to spend an hour in the ferry cafe as Wirral had nothing to do!. When we finished the ferry tour we decided to head up near the Tate museum and looked around all the shops and found a Revolucion De Cuba (on of mine and Adams favourite places to go) and saw they had 2 for 1 cocktails. For our main meal out we decided to try Bem Brazil which is an all you can eat meat and buffet restaurant. Let me tell you, I have never felt so full in my life!.

Last Day we spent a lazy morning in bed before packing and checking out. However the hotel had a luggage storage room which meant we could spend our last day luggage free and out and about. We decided to take a lazy walk to Hanover Lane (where all the restaurants are) and decided to have an early meal at Yard  & Coop. I loved this place, if you've ever been to Lucky Fox in Sheffield it's a bigger version. We then decided to walk through town and down to the Tate Museum and have a look around before having a drink at Revolucion De Cuba and then heading to Turtle Bay as they had 2 for 1 cocktails. The perfect end before getting the train home.
