I haven't purchased any new makeup in a while (that wasn't eyeshadow) and decided that I wanted to try a few different products. I also wanted to pick some new products up to keep at my boyfriends house so I'm not lugging around makeup all the time.

1. Soap & Glory -  Solar Powder : £11.00
Not a new and different product to me as I actually used and loved this bronzer way back in my second or third year of university. I loved this and actually used all mine up, the only reason I never repurchased was because I was trying to use others up. I've noticed that they have changed the packaging which is great since it used to be cardboard and mine actually broke in half. Now it's a sleek back plastic packaging which I love. This bronzer is perfect for my skin tone and gives a subtle look which can be built up which is something I love.

2. Essence - Stay All Day Translucent Fixing Powder: £3.00
I really wanted to try a new powder and this one from the brand Essence caught my eye. I've recently become a lover of the translucent loose powder and this one seems like it will be a good powder. The only problem I've had with this when I have used it a few times is that it can get everywhere but I think thats just a general problem with all loose powders.

3. Soap & Glory -Trick & Treatment Under Eye Concealer : £9.00
I have really bad under eye circles and although the 'Collection lasting perfection' concealer is a god send and my holy grail, this little one called out to me when I was browsing the Boots store. Also with Soap & Glory products it was buy one get one half price. I've only used this a couple of times but it seems to do what it claims and that is to hide the darkness under my eyes. It blends well and lasts a good amount of time which I'm pleased about.

4. Essence- Matt Matt Matt Longlasting Lipgloss (Shade 02 Beauty - Aprroved) : £2.30
I love trying out new matte lip products and this one seemed like a really nice colour and looks way more expensive then it was. I have to say when I actually purchased this I actually thought it was a lipstick and not a lipgloss which is a little of a let down. However it claims to be long lasting with a high coverage and a velvet - matt finish. I do really like the scent, it's not chemical at all and smells a bit like vanilla. I really like this shade as it's a fairly natural tone with a slight pink tint. This seems like a perfect everyday work lipgloss.

5. True Professional - Powder Brush : £2.99
I needed a blusher brush to leave at my boyfriends and thought that this was the perfect time to get my hand on this little beauty. I don't know where else you can get true professional apart from my work (savers) but honestly this is one of the prettiest brushes I've seen in shops. I love the pointed end and the oil slick top and the brush itself seems soft but would be a wonderful blusher brush.

6.WBM Beauty - Eyelash Curler : £1.00
Along with the brush I wanted to buy a spare eyelash curler because it is one step I do not miss out on when doing any makeup look. I just picked these ones from my work and for the price I can't complain. It also comes with a spare rubber section.

7. Primark PS... - Matte Eyeshadow Palette : £2.50
I wanted to leave an eyeshadow palette in my other makeup bag but I use a lot of mine daily and so I decided it would be a good excuse to try one of the Primark's palettes. This one drew me in straight away as I feel it has a good selection of neutrals but also has a few that are a little pop of colour. I can't wait to try this out and if it's a good one I may try out the others. My favourite shade is the top middle shade or the middle last shade (the blue colour).

8. Primark PS... - Mattifying Blotting Paper : £1.00
I have oily skin and sometimes it's a little awkward to whip lout a brush and powder for when I'm feeling a little worse for wear. I've used blotting paper a few times and I really like them but it's always something I forget to pick up. For only a pound you can't complain and I will just keep these in my bag.

9. Rimmel - Brow This Way Styling Gel (Clear) : 4.89
Lastly I needed a new brow gel and I've had the Rimmel one before which I liked. I don't feel right if I haven't brushed through my eyebrows with gel and set them in place. I also have the Primark Brow Gel which is nice and I think I'm going to put in my other makeup bag to take to my boyfriends house.
