MARCH WRAP UP

29.3.16

My motivation for reading has started to become a real problem and I find myself not wanting to pick up any books. However two books I read this month have kind of given my a kick-start in reading again and I managed to read a total of 3 books.

All The Light We Cannot See - Anthony Doerr
A beautiful book which had I didn't want to put down. It's told between the perspective of a blind French girl and an orphan German boy. Set in the period of World War Two this book was magical to read and would happily read it again and again.

Silent Playgrounds - Danuta Reah
This is a psychological thriller/ murder which was something I advent read in a long time and I'm so glad I read this. It was refreshing to read something that had be guessing what would happen and feeling like I was on my seat with anticipation. The ending wasn't what I expected and was done really well.

Monster In The Box - Ruth Rendell
One thing I didn't know about this book was that it's part of a series (actually it's number 22 in the Inspector Wexford series) however I think this can be read as a stand alone as I wasn't confused with any information. There wasn't any story which referred to any of the other books in the series. It was a good story which has a slight twist towards the end and I really enjoyed that.
