Today I am going to share with you some graphic novels which have been on my to-read list for a while. Half the time when I feel like buying them my local waterstones is always out of stock, but one day they will be mine.

001. Bitch Planet
Set in a future just a few years down the road in the wrong direction, a woman's failure to comply with her patriarchal overlords will result in exile to the meanest penal planet in the galaxy. When the newest crop of fresh femmes arrive, can they work together to stay alive or will hidden agendas, crooked guards, and the deadliest sport on (or off!) Earth take them to their makers?

002. Lumberjanes
Jo, April, Mal, Molly and Ripley are five best pals determined to have an awesome summer together. And they're not gonna let any insane quest or an array of supernatural critters get in their way!.

003. Through The Woods
It came from the woods. Most strange things do. Five mysterious, spine-tingling stories follow journey into (and out of) the eerie abyss. These chilling tales spring from the macabre imagination of acclaimed and award winning comic creator Emily Carroll.

004. MAUS
MAUS tells the story of Vladek Spiegelman, a Jewish survivor of Hitler's Europe, and his son, a cartoonist coming to terms with his fathers story. MAUS approaches the unspeakable through the diminutive, it's form as the Nazis are cats and the jews are mice, draws you into the bleak heart of the Holocaust.

005. Soppy
True love isn't always about the big romantic gestures. Sometimes its about sympathising with someone whose tea has gone cold, watching TV and sharing a quilt, or allowing your partner to order take-away pizza again. Soppy is a collection of comics based on real-life moments, from grocery shopping to silly arguments and snuggling in front of the television.

006. Saga
When two soldiers from opposite sides of a never-ending galactic war fall in love, they risk everything to bring a fragile new life into a dangerous old universe.

Do any of these take your fancy?
