BIG LITTLE LIES REVIEW*

10.6.15

This book has really gotten me out of my reading slump that I seemed to have been in since, well it seems like forever. Now with having all the free time I can finally get back into it. Big little lies by Liana Moriarty is a story with twists and turns and a surprise right at the end.

Okay so it took me a while to get into the book. The story is told by three different people. Three different people with three different lives but all end up intertwining together to make a fairly explosive end. It starts with a single mum called Jane who has recently moved into the town with her little boy called Ziggy (which is a cute name).

This book had me gripped from the start to the end. Liana knows how to get readers drawn into the storyline and I really couldn't put this book down. The character building is slightly slow for the first half but then after it does build up fast but not in a unbelievable way. I love how there are sensitive subjects which are being treated with care but there is also moments of humour which lighten the book so it's not so heavy.

I would give this book a 4 out of 5 stars.
