HOW MUCH IS MY FACE WORTH?

26.4.15

Hey guys,

Today I thought I would do a 'what is my face worth' because I wanted to see if it had changed from when I had last done this which had been on my old (and now deleted blog). I always get scared doing post like these because It just makes you realise how much money can accumulate. I am going to be excluding skincare and brushes and starting from when I put on my primer. So lets get on with the show.

First up is face products. These include my Primer, foundation, concealer, powder, bronzer, blush and highlight. So first up is the Primer which is the Lancome LA Base Pro Perfecting Make-Up Primer and this is really nice and has lasted me around 3-4 months and still going strong. This cost me £28.50 which I have to admit is pricey.

Next for foundation is the L'oreal Infallible 24H - Matte Foundation which I am in love with and have wrote a review about. I love the coverage and I am in the shade 12 Natural Rose. This cost me £6.99 which I think Is a reasonable price for a good foundation. Next I have two concealers, one for the blemishes and one for the under eyes area. For the blemishes I have picked up an old favourite which is Seventeen Phwoarr Paint which has been the perfect thing to cover my spots up and is £5.49. The second one is the Bourjois Healthy Mix Concealer which has been great for hiding my bags under the eyes and costs £7.99

Next up is powder and is my trusty favourite Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder in the shade 001 transparent and is £3.99. I always try new powders but find myself going back to this little beauty. After powder I like to put some colour on it and use my Soap & Glory Solar Powder Bronzer, this is my go to bronzer. I am in total love with this and costs £11.00. Next up for blush, I am loving the natural look of the Natural Collection Blushed Cheeks in the shade Peach Melba. This little beauty is only £1.99 and gives off such great pigmentation. For highlighter I am using my new purchase which is the No7 Instant Radiance Highlighter which is £9.95, this gives off a nice glow to the face and I didn't think I would like a non powder highlighter but this has changed my mind.

The total so far comes to a costly £75.90 which is a lot! however I am going to subtract the Soap & Glory bronzer due to it being a birthday present and I actually didn't purchase it so that gives me £64.90

Next up for eyebrows I have been recently using the MUA Pro-Brow Ultimate Eyebrow Kit which I am liking, not as much as the Benefit Browzings however. This little kit is only a £3.50 which I do think is great price for the amount of product as well as tweezers and a little brush. After I've filled in my eyebrows I like to go over with the Maybelline Eyebrow Drama in transparent to set the brows and this is £4.99.

For my eyes I like to prime them with the MAC Paint Pot in Painterly which I have been using since last year and there is still loads left, this is well worth the £15.50 price tag. For eyeshadow I have been loving to use the MUA Undress Me Too which is £4.00, I have been using the shades 'Naked', 'Shy', 'Exposed' and 'Obsessed' which are really pigmented and lovely to use together. Next I use the Estee Lauder Pure Colour in blackened black to line my top lids. This is a hefty £16.50 however was a free gift from my mum. For the bottom I use my Rimmel Soft Khol Kajal Eye Pencil in white just to brighten my eyes up a little and this is £2.99 which is an amazing price.

For eyeliner my new favourite is the Soap & Glory Supercat Liquid Black Eyeliner Pen and is £6.00. I love this as it gives a real precise look and I hardly mess up while using this little pen which is great. For the top lashes I use the 'Collection Longer Lash' however they don't sell this anymore on the Boots website which I am upset about. I do think this was around the £2.99 mark however. For the bottom lashes I use the Maybelline Great Lash which is £4.99 and I have found the wand is perfect for the bottom lashes.

For lips I have found an old favourite which I forgot I loved and this is the Collection Creme Puff Lip Cream in the shade ' Cotton Candy'. I love the natural colour this gives and I also love the smell. For £2.99 you can not go wrong with this.

The total of all the eye products and the lip cream comes to £64.45 however because the eyeliner was a free gift I am going to subtract that and brings the total down to £47.95.

The grand total of my face is a whopping £112.85. Wow! To be truthfully honest that is way lower then I anticipated as I thought It would be around the £140 for some reason. It is still a hefty price but the products all are ones I love and use constantly and have also lasted me a long while so you really do get your moneys worth.

Do you know how much your face is worth?
