FIVE UNDER A FIVER

13.10.14

Today I thought I would show you my top five favourites which are under a fiver. As much as I love high end brands, there will always be a place in my heart for affordable great products. These are ones that I think are great, pigmented and worth more then they are priced.

The first brand is one that everyone loves, its MUA. I've tried a lot of their products and I have to say apart from the lipstick it's the eyeshadow that captures my heart. The one that I use the met is the single eyeshadow in shade 16. This is a matte pink which i use to highlight under the brow bone. I've had this for a long time and i've only just hit the pan which is great.

The second product is the Maybelline Color 24hr tattoo. The one I love the most is the shade pink gold which looks so natural with a hint of colour. I've used this so much and it's nearly gone. This hardly creases on me and honestly lasts a while. I'm also fond of the permanent toupe which is a brown/grey colour.

Thirdly is the brand Seventeen which is newsish to me but oh my gosh their lipsticks are on point. The colours are pigmented and last ages on me. My favourites are 'make and entrance' which is a bright red with pink undertones and 'rule breaker' which is a deep plum colour which will look wonderful in the autumn and winter weather.

Lastly is the new brand over in the UK which is essence. These are great products for low prices. First up is the eyeshadow palette called 'all about nude' and has six beautiful shimmery eyeshadows. they have two dark which are brown and a brick colour. Two pinks and a light brown and then a nude shimmer colour. They all work really well with each other and create lovely nude looks. I also love the silky touch blush in the shade adorable. This is a bright pink which when used lightly creates a lovely natural look.
