Ever since I finished my exams and had time to relax and unwind I have been stuck in a reading slump and it sucks big time. I love reading and for me not to have read since before exams isn't something that I am happy about. I just can't seem to get out of this slump I am in.

I started two books before May and I haven't finished them and I really want to but I just can't find the energy or willpower to even look at them let alone pick them up and read them. I have a massive stack of unread books that I would love to read but I just can't. Part of me feels like this is because I have these two books I haven't finished yet looming over me and I just can't start a third. That is not my reading style.

I don't think buying a new book would even help as that would get put on my to read pile and most likely stay there with all the others. I just can't find a way to get out of this little (or big) slump and I need suggestions. Maybe I just need to scrap one of the books I am 'currently' reading but I end up feeling bad that I didn't give it enough of a go.

I've completely avoided Goodreads because of this and just don't want to see my progress staying the same for months on time. I do think I maybe shouldn't have started new books so close to when my revision and exams were starting but it is a hobby and a relaxing thing for me to do.

I'd love to try any suggestions to try and shake this off so please help! (aha).
