BOOK HAUL

8.4.14

 Hey everyone,

So this is a march book haul even though I'm pretty sure one or two may have been purchased in February but the two months have just rolled by in one big wave. I have ordered two other books which have not been delivered yet which I'm a bit bummed about but hopefully they will be coming soon. Soo on with the show. I have a total of 20 books to show you. Ye gods that it a lot and I have way more that I actually did buy in Feb but just have not put in this haul.

So all these books were bought from the works which is a shop which sells books for super cheap (£1.99) or they always have amazing offers on like 3 for £5. So from the bottom to the top I got

Wait for you by J. Lynn
Sisters Red by Jackson Pearce
Dash & Lily's Book Of Dares by Rachel Cohn and David Levithan
The Woman He Loved Before by Dorothy Koomson
Unwholly by Neal Shusterman. The second book in the unwind series
Pandemonium and Requiem by Lauren Oliver. The second and third book in the delirium trilogy
The Doll's House by Tania Carver
Ten Little Angels by Stephen Cole
Festival Of Death by Jonathan Morris
Players by Terrance Dicks
Sweetly by Jackson Pearce. The second book in the sisters red series.
The Lies We Told by Diane Chamberlin.

Next I picked up these beautiful editions of the classics. These are the puffin chalkboard classic editions and have only seen these and one other in the style and I wish there were more. I can't believe that someone actually drew this on actual blackboard before a picture was taken. I found these on amazon and they were an amazing price for brand new that I didn't even think twice.

The Wizard Of Oz by L. Frank Baum
Peter Pan by J.M Barrie

Next I picked these two up in waterstones as they had the buy one get one half price. Ive been seeing burial rites everywhere recently and I've been picking it up reading the back and then I'd put it down but the colours, and the black edges of the pages kept drawing me in and it also sounded so interesting so I couldn't resist. I've had the first book 'My Mad Fat Diary' for years and found it in a charity shop and have loved it ever since, it was one that I kept re-reading when I wanted to laugh and I was so excited to see the sequel in the shop.

My Madder Fatter Diary by Rae Earl
Burial Rites by Hannah Kent

Two of these books were from Asda I believe and the other from eBay which I picked up on a whim. I've already read 'life after life' and 'the shock of the fall'. Life after life dragged a bit and took me a while to get into but the shock of the fall was amazing and I read it in 1-2 days as I couldn't put it down.

Life After Life by Kate Atkinson
The Shock Of The Fall - Nathan Filer
The Things We Never Said by Susan Elliot Wright
